Our Team

Dr. Michael Cushing


Dr. Michael Cushing is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with a passion for treating shoulder injuries, including arthroscopic instability repair, rotator cuff repair, and total shoulder replacement. He completed his medical training at the Medical College of Georgia and a shoulder fellowship at the Hughston Clinic in Columbus, Georgia. With an interest in sports medicine, Dr. Cushing also served as faculty at the Orthopaedic Learning Center in Chicago, Illinois, where he taught advanced arthroscopic and open shoulder surgery techniques. He is on staff at Piedmont Newnan Hospital, Piedmont Fayette Hospital, and Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Newnan, and lives with his family in Fayetteville, Georgia.

Nikolaj Kloch, MSc.


Nikolaj is a Level II Aerospace Engineer at Boeing who works in Propulsion Structures. Nikolaj executed undergraduate research at the Georgia Institute of Technology. During his time here he received his BSc in Mechanical Engineering. Nikolaj received his BSc in Physics(GCSU) where he was a teaching assistant for Engineering Statics and Dynamics. He received his Masters from the Technical University Of Denmark in Copenhagen.

Nikolaj has experience working in startups specifically TCPoly, where he learned what an adaptive team and product can do. He is also a proud Eagle Scout!

PT Russ Folley PHd (Hnrs.)


Russ is a physical therapy expert with a focus on pain management and musculoskeletal evaluation. He has a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Physical Therapy and an honorary Doctorate Degree for his work on low-intensity laser for pain management. Russ has extensive experience teaching physical therapy programs and has served as a civilian consultant to the US Air Force. He is a board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists.


He has lectured extensively though out the United States on the subjects of pain management, TENS, CRPS (RSD), neural mobilization and musculoskeletal evaluation and treatment. Presently, he is director of the Georgia Rehabilitation Center, Inc. in Newnan, Georgia.
